Avoid all kinds of gluten protein from your diet. Irritable Bowel Constipation occurs when a person does not consume enough water or does not exercise regularly. Taking too many laxatives, or avoiding to go to the bathroom can lead to constipation. If you pay attention to your diet, you will be able to analyse the foods that causes constipation in you and foods that relieve constipation. Some foods cause constipation when you dont drink enough water with them. Therefore to avoid constipation, it is essential to drink plenty of water with such foods. Foods containing inulin(a starch)such as bananas, chicory, leeks, and onions provide food with a powerful bacteria. These bacteria form a mass that helps the stool to move easily, provided that there is enough water available to soften it. When there is adequate hydration, inulin helps the colon to absorb calcium and when the when the colon absorbs calcium, the chances for colon cancer is minimized.

There are several factors that lead to constipation, but diet is the factor that needs to be looked into.
