IBS Constipation

There are several factors that lead to constipation, but diet is the factor that needs to be looked into. There are foods that causes constipation, whereas there are certain foods that relieve constipation. These foods are natural and work much slower than fiber supplements, laxatives, and stool softeners. The various foods that cause constipation are: People who have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) have bowels lined with nerves that reacts to proteins such as lectins in certain foods. Commonly constipating foods in IBS include wheat, dairy products, beef, pork, and lamb. Constipation occurs in low carbohydrate foods such as meat and protein.
